London’s Guy’s Hospital is set to benefit from a new cancer treatment centre due for imminent completion by contractor Laing O’Rourke as part of the Kings Health Partners Cancer Centre.
Cableflow horizontal and vertical bedhead services modules have been used extensively throughout all 7 clinical floors of the impressive new tower block adjacent to the Shard.
Fully factory assembled, pre-wired, pre-gassed bedheads were installed by Cableflow technicians to an unusually condensed programme, demonstrating the benefit of UK based bedhead module manufacturing where design flexibility and programme impact were of primary importance in product selection.
This development consolidates cancer care across both Guys and St Thomas’ hospitals estate with this impressive new facility specifically designed by architects Stantec and engineers Arup to ensure clinicians and researchers are better integrated to enhance treatment development for patients.
