Construction has recently been completed on the new Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital in Aviemore for NHS Highland.
Nestled in the hills of Aviemore It is the first new hospital to be constructed in the Cairngorms National Park and provides 24-beds, 12 consulting/treatment rooms, a minor injuries unit with after-hours access via NHS24, an NHS dental suite and X-ray facilities.
The new hospital also provides accommodation for the Aviemore GP practice along with community health and care teams with additional physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, chemotherapy, a midwife service and a Scottish Ambulance Service base.
Cableflow bedhead trunking product has been installed throughout the project in all clinical and outpatient areas as a one stop solution to the delivery of patient care services, integrating third party nurse call systems in pre-manufactured, pre-wired and pre-gassed product to facilitate speed of install on site.
