The recent multi-million pound investment in upgraded and new services at Wexham Park Hospital near Slough has seen a new labour ward rebuilt, the birthing centre for midwife-led care extended and more birth pools added. The project will also offer better antenatal facilities and a transitional care unit for new babies who need a bit of extra support from mums and where collectively the new development will bring a higher standard of care to more families in the Slough area and beyond.
Once this Women’s Services project is complete, including new pre-and post-natal wards, more than 100 clinical in-patient bed spaces will have been provided. Cableflow Dr Su, Medicol, and PANEL systems have all been integrated into the overall scheme design as well as our much liked WAVE clinical over bed light. Integrated of low level waste gases air extract and time delay clocks were also key features of the installation.
Supplied as a complete turnkey solution factory fabricated, pre-wired for mains power and pre-gassed medical gas terminal outlets and installed the scheme is a striking transformation of both existing estate and new build.
