The new Altnagelvin North Wing project involves the construction of the new 3 storey Ward Block providing 144 bed spaces within the acute Altnagelvin Area Hospital campus site amongst some broader enabling works.
The project design has been structured to be executed in two distinct stages to maintain operation of the surrounding hospital departments.
The new ward block will provide accommodation for 144 bed spaces, supporting inpatient care and based on 100% single rooms across 6 wards and has adopted Cableflow bedheads for the first time across the site.
