An expansion of facilities at Harefield Hospital to include a brand new state-of-the-art private ward has been completed and where the Cableflow Royale complete bedhead system has been installed in a sympathetic refurbishment of an existing structure.
Known as one of the leading facilities for cardiac and thoracic surgery in the world; Harefield Hospital is also one of the largest and most established centres for heart and lung transplants.
The new 16 bed private patients ward opened in October 2017, offering 16 spacious private rooms with en-suite shower facilities.
The Royale by Cableflow offers a less clinical yet greater hotel feel to the room environment and incorporates unobtrusive semi-concealed services including; mains power, nurse call, medical gases and patient communication systems, monitor supports, medical equipment rails, bedhead buffers and all within a complete turnkey supply.
Facia panels in Formica laminate offer a durable finish which is easy to clean in clinical environments.
Associated to this new ward was a further ITU refurbishment and expansion project offering a further 20 beds where Cableflow Medicol vertical solutions have been installed
