Swansea’s Sancta Maria private hospital owned and operated by the Healthcare Management Trust (HMT) is moving to a new home in the city’s docklands which is currently under construction by Kier. It is due to complete in Autumn 2020.
The new purpose-built facility will provide more than sixty clinical treatment spaces for operating theatres, MRIs, an endoscopy unit, an x-ray unit, new diagnostic equipment, purpose-built consulting and ward room in addition to 12 ensuite in-patient bedrooms where Cableflow medical supply units will be universally installed.
The new site will replace the existing HMT Sancta Maria hospital in the Ffynone area of Uplands which has been on the site since 1955.
