The new South West Acute Hospital on Wolf Lough just north of Enniskillen, epitomizes everything that is modern in a 21st century healthcare facility. There are no wards, just long corridors with 300 single side rooms. The £276m hospital is the first in Ireland to offer every patient a single room with en-suite bathroom facilities. Not only does this provide a level of service similar to a hotel it also ensures that hospital acquired infections can be minimized.
Adopting a prestigious high specification across the design team Cableflow bedhead containment systems were applied throughout the hospital in more than 400 clinical locations through our partner Synergy Medical. With demanding benchmark standards applied and tight lead-times the offsite manufacture of the pre-wired, pre-gassed medical supply unit elements by Cableflow was fundamental to achieving project completion.
